Korea Securities Depository (KSD) announced on Dec. 2 that applications for participation in Ourcrowd Global Investment Summit 2020 can be submitted until Dec. 15. The summit is an investment attraction event for startups, venture capital firms, angel investors and leading corporations. This year’s summit was attended by more than 18,000 persons from 189 countries around the world.
The K-Camp Global program is scheduled to take place with the summit. The purpose of the program is to select South Korean companies capable of foreign-language business communication and help them enter overseas markets and attract investment. Selected companies can join the loan program of KSD and Industrial Bank of Korea, too.
At Ourcrowd Global Investment Summit 2020, KSD is going to offer various business opportunities in the form of prototype introduction, main stage presentations and presentations by company as well as booths for South Korean startups.
The K-Camp Global program can be joined by firms participating in the domestic K-Camp program, firms that succeeded in securities crowdfunding, startups that signed an agent contract with KSD, members of the fintech association of KSD, and those that took part in a crowdfunding event hosted by the Busan division of KSD or its branch.
“K-Camp Global will provide huge opportunities for accelerating, international networking, and many more and we will further develop it as a leading partnership brand for startups’ overseas investment attraction,” said KSD CEO Lee Byung-rae.
