Our brand goal is to maximize data potential, according to Rose Hiu, Seagate Technology LLC’s vice president of global Marketing, who spoke to CTech reporter Adi Pick at the 2020 OurCrowd Global Investor Summit, held Thursday in Jerusalem.

Earlier that morning, Seagate announced the opening of its Tel Aviv innovation center, Lyve Labs Israel, with the intention of forming collaborations with Israeli companies. The Nasdaq-listed data storage company has been active in Israel for over a decade and has invested around $90 million in Israeli companies, according to its statements.

“The center is a formalization of our relationship with a lot of the startups here,” Hiu said. “Israel’s track record of innovation is one of the reasons why Seagate wants to invest more here,” she added.
