Fresh spirulina contains 74% protein, according to Lior Shalev, CEO of foodtech startup Simpliigood, who spoke to CTech reporter Adi Pick about the company’s edible spirulina products at the OurCrowd Summit in Jerusalem. 

Founded in 2015 and based in Hertzliya, Simpliigood develops technology for the efficient, cost-effective, large-scale production of spirulina biomass.
