Toyota is scouting for smart cities startups, according to Jim Adler, managing director of Toyota AI Ventures, who spoke to CTech reporter Adi Pick at the OurCrowd Summit in Jerusalem about Toyota AI Ventures’ investments in Israel.

Based in Silicon Valley, Toyota AI Ventures is a venture capital subsidiary of the Toyota Research Institute (TRI).

Toyota AI Ventures has invested in several Israeli startups to date, including robotic companion startup Intuition Robotics Ltd. and computer vision company Cortica Inc.
